The Board of Directors of your Highland
Restoration Association (HRA) neighborhood association has voted
to join the ShreveCentreCoalition in order to help the Highland
area organize its Haynesville Shale efforts.
The ShreveCentreCoalition is the
recently incorporated entity of Shreveport neighborhood
associations and homeowner associations that was formed to deal
with the Haynesville Shale negotiations. The
ShreveCentreCoalition is in the process of appointing a
highly-qualified team of volunteer individuals to negotiate, on
behalf of participating landowners, the most favorable and
profitable leasing of gas mineral rights as part of the
Haynesville Shale Play. The negotiations will be at no cost to
property owners, and the non-binding agreement does not obligate
you to accept the negotiated agreement.
HRA
strongly believes the Coalition is the best way to assist our
neighborhood in achieving the most advantageous results in
leasing the minerals to energy companies participating in the
Haynesville Shale play.
The Coalition will join
our property with that of homeowners across southeast and
central Shreveport to form a total acreage position. The
Coalition will then receive bids on this total amount to achieve
the best possible combination of up-front bonus, royalty
percentage and favorable lease clauses to benefit all
homeowners. A large number of Shreveport neighborhoods (at last
count 24 neighborhood associations and homeowner associations,
to include Broadmoor, Capt. Shreve, Southeast Shreveport
Homeowners Alliance) are now represented under the Coalition
umbrella.
In order to
participate, you must sign and return the
attached Non-Binding Letter of Intent, which will allow the
Coalition to include your property in the lease negotiations.
If you do not sign and
return the enclosed form, HRA and the ShreveCentreCoalition
cannot work on your behalf. |
